Description-

The Ford Program in Human Development Studies and Solidarity and the Kellogg Institute for International Studies invite applications for a scholar at either the associate or full professor level who works on themes related to international development, with a preference for some field work in sub-Saharan Africa.

The Ford Program (http://kellogg.nd.edu/fordprogram) supports research, teaching, and outreach aimed at understanding the conditions that affect human welfare, including the dynamics of extreme poverty, economic growth and development, the political and social determinants of the distribution of wealth and opportunity, politics and public policy, human rights, and human dignity. Applicants would by placed in their disciplinary department: political science, sociology, economics, anthropology, Africana studies, or theology, but would play a leading intellectual role in the development of the Ford Program.
