Research and Program Manager: Health Policy American Enterprise Institute Job Code: B2984 Location: Description-Requirements: Seeking a full time Research and Program Manager to support AEI’s health policy program in the areas of marketing, communications, and research. This position serves as a liaison between the health policy program and both the marketing and media departments. Responsibilities include writing conference summaries of AEI health policy events; creating the scripts for short videos of events for the AEI website; coordinating with health policy research assistants to maintain the Raiser’s Edge database; and assisting with the marketing of AEI’s health policy program. This position is responsible for staying abreast of the activities that the health policy scholars are engaged in and updating the health policy prospectus. This position also contributes to weekly health policy media advisories for use by the press and coordinates special marketing events that feature AEI health policy scholars. Additional Responsibilities: Include assisting Resident Fellow Scott Gottlieb with research tasks in the areas of pharmaceuticals, FDA, health insurance, medicine, and the 2008 presidential candidates’ health care platforms; editing and writing; coordination of seminars and conferences; and coordinating requests from the media for interviews. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, communication, and research skills, as well as a demonstrated interest in health policy and the ability to multi-task.
