Description – 

The IIF’s Global Capital Markets Department is seeking outstanding and highly motivated graduate students to assist with various research projects on emerging markets. These activities will include being actively involved in ad-hoc research requests, downloading data from Bloomberg and official national sources, creating and maintaining spreadsheet models. Excellent writing ability in English is required. Working knowledge of a foreign language, especially Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese or Russian would be a plus.

 

The successful candidate should be highly motivated, have excellent research and writing skills. Excellent spreadsheet skills and strong commitment to detail and quality are required. The candidate should have genuine interest in financial markets and be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of various asset classes. The educational background should be in finance, economics or a related field. Master’s degree or PhD candidate preferred.
